A group from the guild met one Saturday morning to sew together 10 quilts from donated fabric for the victims of the summer forest fires in B. C. The response to this appeal was so great that our quilts were not needed so we decided to keep them for families in need in our own community. Two families lost their homes this Christmas and we were able to provide them with a measure of comfort with six of our own quilt.
